for feloniously stealing out
of a Ware house at Dice Key Twenty pounds weight of moist sugar
of the
[..] lue of Ten shillings and this Deponent saith that he did
attend at the Clerk of the Peace's Office and did give Instructions for
an Indictment to be made out against the said

the said Offence, And this Deponent further saith that he did
attend on Friday the Tenth day of December at Justice Hall in the
Old Bailey
at Ten after Clock in the forenoon in Order to prefer
the said Indictment to the Grand Jury when he was there informed
that the Grand Jury had been discharged the Evening before and
that he this Deponent had for forfeited his Recognizance, And this
Deponent further saith that the Jurys having been discharged
so soon was a very un usual thing and what this Deponent
humbly conceive's has not happened for many Years, And the

Deponent further saith that he did not neglect to attend sooner out of any
favour or affection to the said prisoner or for any reward or

or promise thereof but that he wish'd and intended to have prosecuted
