For Felony

Thomas Wood< no role > of Fore Street London Gentleman maketh Oath and
saith that on Saturday the Thirteenth Day of May last Robert Jaques< no role >
gainst whom a Commission of Bankrupt was lately awarded was
committed to prison for feloniously concealing part of his estate and
Effects to the value of Twenty Pounds and upwards with intent to
defraud his Creditors against the From of the statute in such case
made and provided and this Deponent as one of the Creditors of the said
Robert Jaques< no role > was bound by Recognizance to prosecute him at the
Session of Oyer and Terminer holden for the City of of London in the
Month of June last for the said Felony which this Deponent at the
time of the Commitment of the said Robert Jaques< no role > fully intended to
have done but was then prevented from preferring an Indictment
against the said Robert Jaques< no role > on account of the absence of Thomas Williams< no role >
herein after named and thereupon the said Robert Jaques< no role > was admitted
to Bail for his appearance of this present Session to answer the Charge
against him and this Deponent saith that the said Thomas Williams< no role >
is as this Deponent hath been advised and verily believes a mentioned
witness against the said Robert Jaques< no role > on the Bill of Indictment
intended to have been preferred to the Grand Inquest for the City of London
at this present session of Oyer and Terminer against the said Robert
Jaques for the said Felony and that without the Benefit of the
Testimony of the said Thomas Williams< no role > this Deponent said could not with
safety prefer such Bill of Indictment to the said Grand Inquest at this
present Session of Oyer and Terminer and this Deponent saith that
since the said last Session of Oyer and Terminer he hath used his
almost Endeavoures to find out the said Thomas Williams< no role > but hath
not been ablve and this Deponent saith that he did on or about the
Tenth Day of July instant make deligent Enquiry for the said
