London Commitments.

1 SAMUEL Pearce< no role > , convicted last session, together with Thomas Matchum< no role > and
Thomas Coulthorpe< no role > , of stealing in the city of London an hair trunk contain-
ing a quantity of wearing apparel, bank notes, Etc. the property of Thomas
Mulliner, made his escape; and being retaken Dec. 15, 1777, remains for
judgment, Etc.

2 Robert Roberts< no role > , from Woodstreet-compter committed by Mr. Alderman Alsop,
on oath of Jasper Holmes< no role > and another, for stealing a firkin of butter, the property
of the said Jasper Holmes< no role > and Walker Thomas< no role > . Dated Dec. 16 1777.

James Esdaile< no role > , Knt . Lord-Mayor, on oath of Thoroughgood Chalkley< no role > and others,
for stealing a chaise leather knee flap, a chaise rein, a cloth roof and back for a
coach, and other things, value £5. his property. Dated Dec. 13, 1777.
