Samuel Warwick< no role > }

William Adlard< no role > of Bed Lyon Court Fleet street London printer
maketh Oath and Saith that on the Twenty ninth day of January
last this Deponent became bound by a recognizance before James
Ressets
< no role > Esquire in the sum of Forty pounds to appear at the them next
Session of the peace tobe holden for the City of London in February then
next and now last past to prosecute Samuel Warwick< no role > for feloniously
stealing two linen streets a pair of new Shoes and a Pair of
stoking worsted prosecutes of the value of Twenty Shillings the
property of this Deponent And this Deponent upon his Oath
further Saith that in February session aforesaid the day before this
Deponent and his Witnesses intended to go before the Grand Jury
to prefer a Bill of Indictment (which was them prepared ready in the
Indictment office) against the said Samuel Warwick< no role > he this Deponent
received a notices in writing from the two persons who were Bail
for the appearance of the said Samuel Warwick< no role > informers this
Deponent that the said Samuel Warwick< no role > was Ill of a fever at his
Fathers at Northampton and could not surrender to take his Tial
that Session but would appear at the next Session in April In
consequence whereof he this Deponent [..] thought he was
not to prefer an Indictment against the said Samuel Warwick< no role >
untill the then next April Session and according by omitted to
prefer a Bill of Indictment against him in the said February Session
but preferred one against him for the above offence at the next
Session of the peace held for the City of London in April then next
following which was returned by the Grand Jury a True Bill
And this Deponent upon his Oath further saith that the said Samuel
Warwick not appearing in April Session last he hath over since
taken every means in his power to apprehend the said Samuel Warwick< no role >
and cause him to take his Trial upon the said Indictment And this
Deponent further Saith that he did on it to prefer an Indictment
against the said Samuel Warwick< no role > in February Session last in Order
to favor the [..] said Samuel Warwick< no role > or that he should escape
Justice but merely from Ignorance and this Deponent further Saith
that upon hs Enquires other the Samuel Warwick< no role > he is in returned and verity believes
that he said Samuel Warwick< no role > is abroad beyond the Seas.
