The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
Saint Michael Bassishaw

Sheweth
That by an Order or Pass Warrant under the
Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the
peace for the said City and Liberties thereof one being of
the Quorum, bearing date the twentieth day of August
last past

whose Settlement cannot be found and their three Children

aged Six Years were removed from the Parish of Alhallows
on the Wall in the said City to the said Parish of Saint
Michael
as the Place of their last legal Settlement
That your Petitioners humbly thinking
themselves aggrieved by the Judgment of
the said two Justices humbly appeal to
this honourable Court against the said
Order, And Pray that they will
be pleased to hear and determine the
same and make such Order therein
as shall be just as
