To the Right Honourable Brass Crosby< no role > Esqr . Lord Mayor of the
City of London and the rest of his Majestys. Justices of the Peace for the
said City in their General Session of the Peace at Guildhall in and
for the said City Assembled.

The Humble Petition and appeal of the Overseers of the Poor
of the Liberty of Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents
in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of Barlow Trecothick< no role > Esqr . (late Lord Mayor) and Thomas
Hallifax
< no role > Esqr . Two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said
City and the Libertys thereof (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
Date the 30th. day of October last, John Vincent< no role > was removed from the
Parish of Saint Sepulchres London to the said Liberty of Saffron
Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents (by the name and Description
of the Liberty of Saffron Hill in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn
in the County of Middlesex ) as the Place of his last Legal Settlement
whereby your Petitioners Conceive themselves to be Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Appeal to this
Honourable Court against the said Order and pray that
the said Court will be pleased to Order that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Sepulchre and all Persons Concerned do attend this
Court some day in the next ensueing Quarter Session
of the Peace for the City of London and the Liberties
thereof to hear and Abide the Judgment and Determination
of the said Court Touching the said appeal and that the
Benefit of hearing the said Appeal at that Session may
be saved to your Petitioners and that your Petitioners
may be Otherwise Relieved in the Premises as the said
Court shall see fit

And Your Petitioners shall Pray Etca.
