Butcher Maketh Oath and Saith and first
the said John Pointer< no role > for himself with that he
verily believes that the reason that Priscilla White< no role >
in not here to [..] give Evidence against the said
Mark Marks< no role > is that she is afraid of appearing against
him from the many threats made to her by divers
Jews or that she is detained by them for this
Deponent Saith that in his hearing she was
Persuaded not to appear against him and was
also threatened by many Jews that she should be
and ordered if she did and the said John Pointer< no role > further
[..] when he attended the said Priscilla [..]
to prefer the said Indictment [..] she declared
to this Deponent that she was fearfull of being hurt
or murdered by the Jews belonging to Mark Marks< no role >
& that they would lay hold of her and detain her from appearing
against him And the said John Paget< no role > [..] upon his
said Oath saith that on or about the Twenty eighth
or Twenty ninth day of June last the day on which
he the said Mark Marks< no role > was apprehended for [..]
robbing the said Priscilla White< no role > in the King's Highway
he the said Mark Marks< no role > confessed to this Deponent
[..] that he the said Mark Marks< no role > Knocked the said
Priscilla White< no role > Down in the Kings Highway and
robbed her other Hat
