Who being on Oath says that on the beginning
of last August, which she believes to be about the
9th. or 10th. she followed a Person now present who
calls himself William Lloyd< no role >
, one William Richardson< no role >
lately Executed, and Mr. James Peisley< no role >
, Clerk
to a
Proctor in Doctor's Commons to the India House
Where She saw the said Lloyd receive two Bank
Notes by Virtue of the Probate of a Will which
he produced to a Gentleman
now presentproduced who
calls himself Ynyr Burges< no role >
, purporting to be the
Probate of a Will of a Seaman
in the Service of
the East India Company; says that she afterwards
went with said Lloyd, and said Peisley to the
Bank where Cash was obtained for the said Notes;
says that they then went to a Tavern near the
Bank, where said Lloyd paid for said Probate, and
gave said Peisley five Shillings for his
trouble; says that she remembers said Probate
related to a Seaman who died on Board the
Boscawen, said to be employed [..] in the
Honourable the East Company Service.
