Coleman Street London , and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Matthew at Bednal
Green in the County of Middx
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Stephen
London. That Mary Curties< no role > This name instance is in set 905. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . Singlewoman is

lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and us likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Mary Curtis< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Mary Curtis< no role >

to be in the said Parish of Saint Matthew at Bednal Green

and that thitherto she ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to Will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Stephen
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Mary
Curtis and her two Bastard Children that is to say Mary < no role >
aged three years and George < no role > aged one Year for Nurture
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Matthew at Bednal Green
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 17th Day of August One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Sixty five
