which she made no Answer but cried: that Deft [..]
then asked Maria, having for it observed that there
being two lives at stake, wher. [..] her Sister was
any ways concerned with her in the Murder of
the Child to which the answered that she was
not any ways concerned.

Middlx Apothecary maketh Oath & saith that last
Sunday Evening between the Hours of 8 & 9 to the bed
of Dept. Remain braned and Belief a Servant Maid
of Mrs. Harris of Present [..] at who this Dept. hath
been informed and believes is Sister to and Maria
Jenkins

(which sd. Maria this Dept. is informed believed
was that day brought to bed of a Bastard Child)
came to this Dept. & desired him to make her
up something for the Pyles which Dept. accordingly

and at the same time sold her a small Box of
Ointment of Elder
