Bill of Exchange and the first Indorsment thereon in
[..] Please to Pay to Saml.< no role > & Jas. Collins< no role > or Order
for value and John Shepherd< no role > was wrote by his
Brother John Kello< no role > and that he this Informt. so
him write it says that immediately after the aforesd.
Meeting near Guildhall , they went together to the
Red Lyon in Moorfields , at wch time he believes it was
about 3 o'Clock, says that then and there his said
Brother Jno. Kello< no role > asked for Pen Ink & Paper and
in his Presence wrote ye. Body of a Letter now produced
with the Name Wm. Partridge< no role > thereto subscribed
Purporting to hear date the 28th. of Augt. 1762 from Woodford
says they drank some Ale there and were waited on by a
Man Waiter, says that they went away together about four
o'Clock to white Chapel to an Inn there, [..]
in Order to Sealedthe Cove of the aforesd. Letter, says that they not
being able to get any Wax or Seal at that House they
went to a Stationers near the said Inn where they
bought some Sealing Wax, borrowed a Seal and in the
Presence of the Person who lent them the sd. Seal
& in the Presence of his said Brother he this Informt.
Sealed the Cover of the said Letter, by the assistance
of a Candle brought by the Maid Servt. of the House
says that from thence they went together towards the
Jamaica Coffee House near which place they parted
but before they sepparated agreed to send the aforesd.
Letter Sealed as aforesaid, by a Porter to Mr. Cotton at
Mr. Elliots as it is directed, and says that before the
sd. Letter was Sealed the aforesaid Draft for £1000
and the aforesaidDraftBill of Exchange for £350 were inclosed
by his said Brother John Kello< no role > , says that he
