The King agst William Tatton< no role >

William Bowyear< no role > of the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex
Laceman and the said Deft. William Tatton< no role > do Severally make Oath as
followeth and first the said William Bowyear< no role > for himself Saith that
he this Deponent did no Thursday the fourth day of January instant
personally serve Francis Reynolds< no role > the prosecutor of the Indictment in
the above cause with a true Copy of the notice hereunto annexed by [..]
Delivering the Same into the proper hands of the said Francis Reynolds< no role >
and the said Defendant William Tatton< no role > for himself Saith that
he this Defendant now said for some time last past hath been
in a bad State of health and that he finds his Constitution Daily
Impairing and is advised by his Apothecary and friends and finds it
absolutely necessary for the recovery of his health to go into the County
and that he Hath caused his witnesses to be Subpena'd to attend at
this present Sessions of Oyer and Terminer held at Justice Hall in
the Old Baily in and for the City of London in Order to give Evidence
for this Defendant on the Tryal of the said Indictment and
it will be of the utmost In convenience and prejudice to this Defendant
is Case the Same shall be put off to the next Sessions and the
said Defendant further Saith that his bad State of health is greatly
occasioned by the said Francis Reynolds< no role > 's ill usage from time to time
towards this Defendant for that the said Francis Reynolds< no role > during this
prosecution hath frequently [..] up to this Deft. at Billingsgate
and other place's when this Defendant hath been transacting business of
great Consequence and with divers Scandalons and a busive words
Insulted this Defendant to such a Degree that he could not peseibly
pransact his said busing and this Defendant verify believes that the
said Francis Reynolds< no role > taken the Adsantage of the Dedendance of the
prosecution against this defendant as the only [..] of his said ill be has is [..]
towards this deft.
