At which time the said Hardy drop'd some Swan Shott
upon the Ground, That thereupon the said Hardy said to this
Informant (as his he had been the Person that had droped them) Dam you have you been a Fowling, have you had good
Sport, [..] you should hot bring such things here, for you are
liable to be Stoped, Says that he was affraid to say any thing
for fear she said Hardy would shoot him, he the said Hardy having
at that time his hand upon his Pistols, And this Informant
says that the said Hardy made this Informant promises that he
would came the next Morning for his Jackett, To which he told him he
would come to him between Nine & Ten, And this Informant
further says that he afterwards went with the said Hardy down Stairs
into the aforesaid Tapp Room where were Jeffries, his Wife, and
the others two Persons me of whom was Charles Buttler< no role > , Says that this Informant wanted to go,
but the said Jeffries told him he should not till his Wife went,
that about Half an Hour afterwards, Jeffries's Wife, Charles
Buttler, this Informant & another Persons, went out together;
That an this Informant was going out at this Door he was stoped
by the said Charles Buttler< no role > , Who ask'd him if he would be [..]
sure to be there meaning at Newgate the next Morning, And
to be sure to bring a Brain of Pistols with him, as words to
that effect, Saying at the same time, that he would be sure to be
more to be reasy with a Coach to carry the said Jeffries, Hardy &
Bathall to the Water sides, And further says that Charles Buttler< no role >
declared that it was a Dam'd deep said scheme and would certainly
do, pointing at the same time, the place where then Coach was to street
