That Your Petitioner was on the 20th day of
December 1755 by Virtue of Warrant under the hand
and Seal of

. Committed to New Prison
the said Warrant Setting forth that Yor. petr: had not
Surrendered himself to the Comissioners named in a
Commission of Bankruptey awarded against your
petr. within the time mentioned in the Gazette for that
Purpose with intent to defraud the Creditors of your sd.
Petitioner against the Statute
And on the 23d. day of the said Month your petr.
was Detained by Warrant under the hand and Seal of

. for feloniously Wilfully & maliciously
Setting fire to a Certain Dwelling house in Berry Street
in the parish of St. James Westminster
That Yor. Petitioner hath since been removed
from the said New prison
to his Majestys sd. Gaol of
Newgate
where he now remains to take his Trial for the
said Offences
Yor. Petr. therefore most humbly prays that he
may at this present Session be Tried Bailed
or Discharged of the Offences aforesaid
according to the form of the Statute in that Case
made and provided.
