Affair and there three of the Jury Men were appointed to
determine the same and they thereupon adjourned to the
Naggs head in Cheapside where Mr. Auld and Captain
Munden and several Witnesses attended in Order to be
examined touching this affair till about ten o'Clock that
Night at a great Expence when they were told the Jurors
could not proceed on this Affair because Mr. Plunket and
his Witnesses did not attend so it was postponed. That on
Wednesday the twenty third of this Instant October he had
Notice to attend the said Jurors at the three Tunn Tavern
at Aldgate and accordingly he attended with several other
Witnesses on the part of the said Mr. Auld and Captain Munden
that none of the said Witnesses were examined by the said Jurors
Excepting he this Deponent and this Deponent did there
relate to the said Jurors what he has above sworn or words of
the same Effect And this Deponent further Saith that he was
greatly surprised at the said Jurors pretending to adjudge
Mr. Auld and Captain Munden to pay the said Mr. Plunket
four Guineas and a half besides some other Cosk and Charges to
his Attorney and Witnesses which he is possitively satisfyed
there could be no foundation for as there were no other
Witnesses sworne to be Examined before the said Jurors
Excepting the two Witnesses that were sworn before the
Alderman that head the Affar the Day after the Quarrell
happened who then declared they see nothing of the Affair-
till Mr. Plunkett had engaged Mr. Auld and Captain Munden
