The Voluntary Confession of Martin< no role > otherwise
Called Bartin Palmer< no role > taken upon Oath before
me Richard Chamberlayne< no role > Esqr . one of his
Majesties Justices if the peace for the said
County

Says that about a Month ago, he became Acquainted with
George Gibben< no role > Henry Bates< no role > James Blundell< no role > are that Henry
Bates
< no role > , desired this Deponent to go with him in the Handkerchieff
way which he refussed Gibbons and Blundell near a Month since
about Ten at night in Holy well Lane Shote ditch when they
took a Gentleman Hatt. about ten or Eleven day ago George
Gibbon
< no role > and James Blundell< no role > and this Deponent went into Wide-
gate Ally near Bishops Gate and got over a Wall and took
Glass out of a Window and Examinant took there out Eight
Bobbins of Silk and the same were sold by Bates and he told
them that he had received twenty Shillings & distributed to
then Five Shilling each and they had some lyder & Salmon
for Supper and departed about three in the afternoon an
out of the same Yard they Took a Tea Kattle and an Ale house
Pewter Pott. afterwards Feorge Gibbon and Examinant that is to
say about a fortnight ago in Primrose Street Faceing Spittle
Yard Gott over a Wall and Took a Copper Pott and Cover and two
pair of Pink Coloured Stocking and Sold the same to a Broker
over against White Chappel Mount for which Bates received
of the Broker Six Shilling they also took Several Aprons from
the same place and one Thursday Morning about three of the
Clock Deponent George Gibbons< no role > and Nathaniel Yardly< no role > went
down Smock Alley near a Cheese Mongers and got over a
Brick wall and a Wooden Fence and there took out a Pain of
Glass and opened the Window and took thereout two pair of five
