To the Right Worshipful his Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the City of London in their
General Quarter Sessions Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of
the Church Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Michael
Wood Street London

Sheweth.


That by vertue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the hands and seals of Sr Robert Westley< no role > Knt . Lord Mayor
of the City of London and George Arnold< no role > Esqr Two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the sd. City of London
(One being of the Quorum) hearing date the 21st. day of
April 1744 Esther Dean< no role > Singlewoman was lately removed
from the Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate London
unto the said Parish of St. [..] Michael Woodstreet
London Alledging the sd. Parish of St. Michael Wood Street
to be the place of her last Legal Settlement:

That Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
Agreived by the said Warrant or Order of the said
Two Justices Do therefore Appeal to your Worships
therefrom And humbly pray that you will be pleased
to hear them in the Premisses And under that the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate London
may Appear before you at a certain day to be
Appointed to hear and Abide the Judgment and
Determination of your Worships touching this
Appeal.

And Your Petitioners Shall pray Etc.
