Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace
for this City and the
Liberties there of one being of ye Quorum by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St Faith
under St paulLondon
That William
Davis & Amey< no role >
his Wife are
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
the said William Dairs that abt three years since her
served Jacob Lee< no role >
a Victuler
at the three tunns Tavern in Bishopsgate
Street
in the Parish of St Botolph
Bpsgate London
as an hired
hired Servt
. for one year and upwards at the Yearly Wages of
four Pounds And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said William Davis< no role >
and Amey his Wife
to be in the said Parish of St Botolph without Bishopsgate
LondonAnd that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent

Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St Faith under St Paul's

from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of
St. Botolph with out Bpsgate

And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for her according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this twenty seventh day of September
and Thousand Seven hundred and Thirty four
