Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace
for this City and the
Liberties thereof (one being of ye Quorum) by You the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of St Botolph
without Bishopsgate
London That Ann
Newey Singlewoman
is
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and is likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
Alice Hart< no role >
that she is the Aunt by the mother side of the Sd Ann Newey and
that she the sd Ann Newey< no role >
was born in the Parish of St. Olave Silver Street
London abt thirty five years since and baptized in the Sd. Parish Church and
that she doth not jnow beleive the Parents of the Sd Ann had any legal Settlemt
And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said Ann Newey< no role >
to be in the said Parish of St Olave
Silver Street London
And that thitherto the ought by Law
to be sent
These are therefore in is Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St Buttolph without Bishopsgate

forthwith to Remove and Convey the said
Ann Newey< no role >
from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of St
St. Olavo Silver Street London
And her deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for her according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this twenty seventh day of July
