This Exaiant saith That on Saturday night
last he was in company with Christopher Clitherow< no role >
at the Rose Inne
in Smith Feild
together with
Thomas Willgus< no role >
Chamblein
of the said Inne
who being then a sleep with a silver Watch in his
Pocket the said Clitherow advised this Exaiant
to pick his pocket of the same which he refused
to do as being his freind but beleives the said
Clitherow did himself afterwards P forme the
same feat he having showed him the Watch & told
him so & this Exaiant went with him to Aldgate
Church
& stood at a distance when he pawned
the same at a Brokers in Handsditch
& reced from
him twenty shillings being the Moiety as the said
Clitherow informed this Exaiant of the money
that he pawned the said Watch for.
