this Depont. cannot with safety proceed to Tryal & this Dept.
Saith that he hath used his endeavour to procure the Sd. Brets
attendance at this Session but was yesterday informed at his
place of Abode & doth verily believe yt. the sd. James Bret< no role > now is & hath for some
time past been in Berkshire upon his buisness & doth not
return to Town till the latter end of the next week
