The Deposition of Richard Massam< no role > of St. Peters Cheap London Plumber taken
before me this 27th. day of December 1720

This Deponent maketh Oath, that on Wed-
nesday the 21st. of this Instant and [..]
[..] abt: four of the Clock in the after:
:noon One William Fitch< no role > came to this
Deponent and asked him if the Letter
Carrier was gone by, and this Deponent sd.
that the thought not Upon wch. ye sd
Wm. Fitch asked this Deponent which
end of Woodstreet ye latter Carrier first
came into Cheap side ; [..] the sd. Wm.
Fitch yt. left yt Deponent, and afterwards
called upon him again and [..] gave
him a Letter directed to Mr. John Huxley< no role > in
Woodstreet , which he sd. Willm. Fitch said
came by the Generall Post, and therefore
desired this Deponent to give it to the
Letter Carrier as soon as the Saw him, which
this Deponent accordingly did.
