The Information of Judith Barrance< no role > wife of William
Barrance
< no role > taken on her oath before me Isaac Tillard< no role >
Esqr one of his Maties Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middx

This Informant on her oath Saith That on the Five and
twentieth day of June last past She went to one John Humfryes< no role >
who owed her three Guineas in order to ask him for the same
and after some discourse this informant pulled out Seventeen
Guineas and an half which her husband William Barrank< no role >
had given her to lay up, saying withall that She had forgett
to lay it up, but that She would go and do it, Upon which
the said John Humfryes< no role > Swore a great oath that She Should
not lake away the mony. and by force took the said Seventeen
Guines and an half from her together with a Gown and Pettycoat
that She had in a bundle, threatning at the same time to kill
her and Afterwards the said John Humfryes< no role > by his threats
forced her to go to the Fleet and was married to him there

The Information of Valentine Tarrant< no role > living in Black dog
yard in Shoreditch Weaver taken on his oath Etc

This Informt on his oath Saith That the above named John
Humfryes
< no role > some time lodged in his house in Dog yard aforesaid
and went by the name of John Freeman< no role > And that dureing the
time he lodged there he lived with a Woman who went for his
wife and had a Child by her, but this informt. hath Since
heard that the said woman is a Waterman wife
