in the County of Norfolk Mariner Maketh Oath
That he was about Seven or eight Months Since
on Board the good Ship the Mary of Yarmouth
Capt Benjamine Crow< no role > this Deponts Father then Master
in Yarmouth Road and there Saw the abovenamed
Defendant who was then with the said Ship bound
for Norway in or near the Kingdome of Denmark
And this Deponent further Saith that he hath been
tredibly informed that the said Defendant did go go his
said then intended Voyage and that in Prosecuting
thereof the said Ship was taken by the Sweedes and
carryed into Gottenburgh in the Kingdome of Sweeden
and that he hath Inquired severall times Since and
very lately if the said Defendant was Returned from
his said Voyage to England and hath not heard that
he is and verily believes he is not yet Returned
