Sessions Pakers. 1715

Eliz: Homewood< no role > , maketh Oath that on friday the
30th. of [..] last as she, and her mother were going
over London Bridge , about noon, this deponent
had her pocket pickt, of about three pounds, in
gold, and silver and this deponent further saith
that she verily believes, that Mary Sound< no role > alias
Bloches< no role > was the person that did picke her pocket
She will remembring that as she stood up to avoid
a Cart, such as woman justled her up, and was
next that side, where the pocket hang, in which
her mony was, that was sor stollen from her as
abovesaid

Anne Brooker< no role > , maketh Oath, that being at the
Exchang on Friday, last her daughter with whom
she came our London bridge , told her this deponent
that her pocket was pickt of almost five pounds
in mony upon wch. this deponent went to London
bridge , and Enquired of some applewomen, whether
they had observed any pick pockets that day, and that
she was told, their had been that day one Mary,
Sound
< no role > , a notorious pickt pocket , and described her
to have ablemish in one of her Eys, and informed
her this deponent where probably she might find
her, and this deponent having found the prisoner, [..]
Mary Sound< no role > , doth upon her Oath say that she verily
belives. that She is the very Woman who justled her
daughter (as they went our London bridges) and picked
her pocket and farther saith not
