This Informant saith that between nine and ten of the clock
this morning as He was coming thorough Doctors Comons
from
one of his Masters Customers he saw two Gentlemen
encountring with Fists near thebackfore gate in the Comons
and after they had struggled some little time they both
drew their swords (but this Deponent cannot remember
which of them drew first) and pushed at one the other
and this Deponent saith that whilst they were engaged
this Deponent saw one of the Gentlemen whose name
he is since Informed is Nicholas Smith< no role >
push the other
Gentleman
(whose name this Deponent is likewise since
Informed is Matthew Constantine< no role >
) into the side with his
drawne sword, whereupon the said Matthew Constantine
after he had attempted for some little time to push at the
other Gentleman dropt downe upon the ground and
expired instantly. as this Depont hath been since Informed
Capt & Jurat 30.mo. die Juny
