Complaint being this day made unto Us two of her Majesties
Justices of the peace for this City and liberties (quor unus) by you
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish
of St. Peter Poor in Bread streete London that one Elizabeth
Smith
< no role > Wife of John Smith< no role > (now in her Majesties Service ) is
lately come into your said parish endeavouring to Settle
there and is likely to become chargeable there to unlesse
timely prevented And for as much as it appearech unto
Us the said Justices upon the oath of the said Elizabeth
Smith
< no role > this day taken before Us that her said husband Some
yeares Since was bound Apprentice to one John Barrett< no role > a
Fruitenr near the three Cranes in the parish of Saint
Martin Vintrey London where he Served most parte of
his time and no other Settlement appearing to Us Since
that time Wee the said Justice doe therefore adjudge the
said parish of St. Martin Vintrey to be the place of the
last legall Settlemt. of the said John Smith< no role > and whether
thesaid Elizabeth of right ought to be conveyed

you the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of

forthwith upon Sight hereof to convey and passen as from
