Tillingham Hall in the Parish of Childerditchs
in the County of Essex Yeoman taken upon
Oath before me Bastwick Johnson< no role > Esqr one
of her Maties Justices of the Peace of the
County of Middlx this 15th day of November
Ano Dom 1712

Who Sayth upon his Oath that on Thursday the 13th Instant
about Six a Clock att night this Informant Drest
a Browne Bay stone Horse in this Informants Fathers
Stable whose names is Thomas Wood< no role > and that the next
Fryday morning the said Stone Horse was feloniously
stolen out of the said Stable upon which this
Informant knowing the said Fryday to be Markett
day in Smithfield in the Citty of London this Informt.
Rid the Same day to London and goeing into Smithfield
about two of the Clock in the afternoon of the same
said Fryday this Informant found the said Stone
Horse and upon the back of him was one Paul
Dowsett
< no role > who was formerly this Informant Fathers
Servant and when this Informant tooke him
upon the said Horse he the said Dowsett
confest he Stole the said Horse which said
Horse was Value about fourteene pounds
