The Generall Prices thisday of Octobr.
1699 And for some time past of the severall fortes of
English Corne and therein under menconed As They
and sd old in the Marketts in and near the City of London
are as followeth Vizt.

Verygood English undling wheat is Six & Forty
shillings the Quarter}

The life sort of English Rye is Twenty & Eight
shillings the Quarter}

Barley the Better sent is Twenty & eight shillings
the Quarter}

Very good Peas for boyling is Six and Thirty
Shillings the Quarter}

The best sent of 6 [..] way peas and Beanes for Horses
and House the Quarter to Thirty Shillings}

Good clean Beance the Quarter is two & Thirty
shillings}

Good Carden Beanes is thirty six shillings the Quartr 1:16:=:

English Forte of good and ling Cates is Sixteen
shillings and Sixe pence the Quarter}

Yeoman and John Bowden< no role > son of Dullidcce in the same County Yeoman
being pay one if qualifiedbeing p substants all housekeeper wth. in the County aforesd And not [..] Court and her [..] on Factors Merchants or persons [..] According to the direccon of the late Act [..]
Parliament passed in the first peace of the reigue of the late King James
the Second Intituled an Additionall Act for improvemt. of Tillage Doe
certifie on our Respective Cathes According to the best of our knowledge
and Informacon being conversant in the corne marketts in and near
the City of London that the abovesaid Prices is the Common Markett
Price of the severall rates of English Grain of the respective Sorts as
They are bought and Sold Witnesse our Hands the day abovewritten

imported [..] The said Thomas Baker< no role > having a freehold effort of Twenty pounds P Ann And the said
John Bowdon< no role > haveing a Least held estate of fifty pounds P Ann above all charges & reprizes And
being skill full in the prices of Corne According
