The Examination of Henry Scott< no role > taken the first day of
May 1699 .

Who saith that on Sunday the 23th: day of Aprill last past the
came to the House of Edward Lee< no role > about halfe an houre after
tenn a Clocke that morneing to see Daniell Walter< no role > and Smocking
three times at the Doore of the said Howse, and lookeing up he
saw Elizabeth Walter< no role > ats Pines the pretended Wife of the
said Daniell Walter< no role > looke out of a Windowe, Who did this Informant
stay and presently after the said Daniell Walter opened the Doore
and let this Examinant into the howse And this Examinant went
up three paire of staire into the said Walter Chamber But the
said Daniell Walter staid belowe on the ground roome where the
Shop and Kitchin was And presently after this Examinant went into the
said Chamber the said Elizabeth Walter< no role > ats Pines went downe
Staires and in a litle time after both the said Daniell, and Elizabeth
Walter< no role > came up into the aforesaid Chamber where this Examinant was and presently went
downe the Staires againe And about eleaven a Clocke the said
Daniell and Elizabeth came up againe in a great Laughter And
this Examinant askeing the reason of theire [..] laughter the preplied
they saw thro a Window [..] lookeing into into and her yard a Man & a Woman
comitting lewdnes together And the said Walter being asked if they
did not disturbe Them Who answered they night have heard as for
wee made Noise enough with laughing & knocking And this Examinant
farther saith the said Daniell Walter imediately after Stabed & decd
himselfe and went out of the howse & returned againe about twelve
a Clocke the same day
