It is the Humble psentment of this Grand Jury of London
to the Lord. Majr Judge & Jusstice of this honorble Court on
20 Febr 1694

Wheras by Sadd Experience the Cant Coine of this
Kingdom is demnished defared Imbased &
Counterfelled to lesse than one halfe of the due
Intren suke vallue to the Rum of trade & great
dishoner of the nation wch we frnds by Eathange
abroad & to our great detrement at home if
not Speedily pvented by some new. law wch
shall punish Confederats dispersons of Clippt
money & merconary Exchanger of Broad money
as well as the Criminally taken in the fact of
Clipping. will have a great Tendancre to the
Inevitable ruin of trade & disturbance in the
Kingdome than can be Retrieved

That we Couse we there is an newssely of further
power to be given to Justices of the Peace & other
Magistrates for Frequent Examination of
loose & unsettleds persons that have noe habitation
nor businesse but two on Pillferinge or begginge
& upon Examination of such persons soe found
& detected that they be Imployed in the
Service of the Kingdome as souldiers would
pvent the unreasonable Imposition by pepmastr
And the loose vitio use women & Blacke Gards
boys bee sent to the Plantations

That Salisbury Court White Fryers & other
ptended Priviled goe places are Not or wns for
Entertaining Lewd people Clipper & high way
men & Shelltring such as defraud their Creditors
That all Lottery Except what be Establisheds by
the Government be Suppress as publik [..]
to the Debawhery & Rum of youth & Servants

All wch we [..] bly psonr as fill to be recomended by this Honrble
Court to the wisdom of this Parliament that such Lanes may be
Enacted as to Red [..] these Grievance
