To the Right Honoble. Sr . Wm. Ashurst< no role > Knt Lord Maior of
the City of London And to the Right Worll. their Maties. Justices
of the Peace of the same City att the Generall Quarter Sessions
of the Peace assembled

The humble Peticon & Appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of St. Sepulchers London

Sheweth


That one James Attley< no role > a youth aged about 9 yeares whose Father att his
death was a settled Inhabitant in the parish of St. Buttolph Bishoppsgate by
virtue of a Warrant under the hands & Seales of twoe of their Maties. Justices
of the Peace one being of the Quor was sent to yor. Petr. to be pvided for
upon the Suggestion That Hester Hatley< no role > his Grandmother is an Inhitant
in yor. Petr. Pish of St. Sepulchers Whereas in truth the said Hester Hatley< no role >
the Grandmother by reason of her necessity is only A Lodger wth. her son in the
said Parish of St. Sepulcher And hath not estate And not able by Lawe to
Pvide for him.

Their humble suite unto yor. good Honor. & Worpps. is
that you wilbe pleased to heare yor. Petrs. & the Churchwardens
of St. Buttolph wth. out Bishoppsgate in the Prmisses And
to send the said James Attley< no role > to the said Churchwardens of
St. Buttolph Bishopsgate where his Father dyed & was
Settled Inhabitant According to the Lawe

And They shall Pray Etc

Bishoppsgate to provide for Some Ashley until
