The humble Petition of the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the Poore
of the Parish of Eyling
in the County of Middx.
Sheweth
That by Virtue of A Warrant under the Hands and Seales of twoe
of their Maties. Justices of the Peace for this City (one being of the Quor)
Dated the 17th. of October last one

the father lived att Bramptford

the Parish of Eyling
in the said County for Five or Sixe Yeares as A
housekeeper
where the said Robert was born whereas in truth the said
Wm. Hammond< no role >
for aboutyeares past did live in the said Parish
but afterwardes in the yeare 1686 dwelt in the Parish of St. James
Garlick
in the London As Appeares by a Certificate under the hand of the
Minister and Churchwardens in order to obteyne the said
Wm. Hammond< no role >
to be admitted into the society of Porters
London the better to enable him
to make provision for his family whoe was admitted accordingly and
never since had any residence in the said Parish of Eyling
Yor. Petrs. humbly Pray yor. Honors. and Worpps. to Swar
them in the Prmisses and to can so the said Robert Hammond< no role >
to be sent to the said Parish of St. James Garlickhith
where
his father Wm. Hammond< no role >
was last legally settled there to be
provided for According to the Law.
