taken 17th. day of
September. 1692
This Examinant sayes that he had beene in
England seaven weeks and that he lodges at
Mrs. Ball being an Alehouse in hedg Lane
&
has dond see for a fortnight and sayes that the
Pistoll which was found in his your kett Charged
he borrowed at home, and that hee tooke it with
him into Moore feilds, and sayes that he shott
at a marke withit there, three or Foure tymes
against a wall, that there was noe body wth
him, and the place where he shott, is at the
far there udr of the wall next to ye musick
house, but sayes he did not minde how neare
he shott to the marke And this Examt. further
sayes that the severall bunches of Whipcord
found in his pockett, when apprehended, he
found lying upon the grounde by the stable
doore where he was taken, And sayes that a
Pson lifted him over ye palds
whom he never
Saw before, and that he told him there was
a Dunghill where hee might doe his buisness
And further sayes that hee was sitting on the
other side of the way upon a bench a little
before he was apprehended And that there
was no body sitting with him on the bench,
but a little boy, whom hee did not know, And
furthur sayes not
