The Examination of Mary Parker< no role > Charles
Harwood
< no role > & John [..] taken before me this
Fourth day of November 1789

Who being on Oath says & first
Iron Parker says that she in Shop keeper in Five Field
Row Chelsea that on Friday last between Twelve & One
o Clock at Noon she was in his Kitchen under her Shop
that having somebody go out of her Shop she lookd up
thethrough the Kitchen Window & saw a Man which
she believes to be Prisoner who calls himself Thomas
Essex
< no role > go down the Shop Steps that she immediately pur-
sued him and saw him running in the next Street
where he was Slept that this Infort saw some Shoes taking
from his Coat Pockett that she saw in the hands of ye
Man that went out of her shop a parcell that ap-
pear'd the Silk handkerchief that this Infort. was
Robb'd of severall Articles sd time & that the Silk hand-
kerchief now produced are part of the property she lost
Markd by her & that she has no doubt at all of the
Linnen handkerchief & Stairs now produced being her pro-
party that one the Child Shoes now produced this Infort saw
taken from The prisoner and that the follow to the
Said Shoes this Infort found in her Shop since

Charles Harwood< no role > on Oath Says that
he saw the prisoner running in Queen Street Chelsea last Friday between the hours
of Twelve & one that hearing the Cry of Stop thief he ran
after him that the prisoners had some handkerchiefs in his
hand that this prisoner turning a Corner into Clifford Row
this Infort lost sight of him a few Seconds but soon Paid
[..] old of him that he saw soone handkerchief hanging
on some Nails on Clifford raw & some handkerchiefs with
in a saw Yards of where he last the Prisoner on the Ground
that this Infort saw some Children Shoes taking out of
the prisoners pockettwhosd that the Said things [..] were given

from the prisoner Three pair of shoes out of his
Breeches (now produced) near Mary Parkers
