Who on Oath Say'd first [..]
Maria Tomlinson says that Yesterday Morning that
Eleven O Clock the person now present That call
himself John Fincham< no role >
came into her Masters
House the Princes Head in Princes Street St Marga-
retts Westr
, and staid these till about Five in the
Afternoon that he then went into a Parlour with
a pint of Beer & a Newspaper that about half a
Minute before this infort. was askd by a Child wth
a Clock it was a that she went into the said par
-ter to see what a Clock it was (as Round Deall be-
ing there in a Mahogonny Case) that about a Quar-
ter of an Hour after, the said John Fincham< no role >
was
gone away & the said Hound Dial Clock & Case
was gone and that no other person had been in the said
Parlour but the said John Fincham< no role >
the said
Parlour being Shirt Close so that no Person could
go into the said Parlour without this Infort seeing
Hing her or them & that this Infort verily beleives ye
said John Fincham< no role >
took away the said Clock

As upward on Oath says he had
such a Clock stole from out his parlor with
a Mahogonny Case to it
