The Information of Thomas Sherwin< no role > taken
upon Oath the Nineteenth Day of November
1789

Who upon his Oath saith that on Sunday Morning the
Fifteenth Day of November Instant betwixt the Hours of
Twelve and Two o'Clock he met the Prisoner Hannah Binn< no role >
in Holborn who asked him to stop with her upon wch. he asked
if she had any Lodging & where it was upon she told him
to come with her that they went together to a Room in Parkers
Lane but not rightly agreeing he went away but in about an
Hours Time he returned back again to the same Room
where the Prisoner still was when they agreed to go to
Bed that he gave the Prisoner Hannah Binn< no role > one Shilling
& put the remainder of his Money into his Waistcoat
Pockett and put his Cloaths under the Bolster that in a
few Minutes after they were got into Bed Somebody
knocked at the Door upon which the Prisoner Jumped
out of Bed & ran to the Door and opened the same lot
in two Men but ran away herself and came no more
but upon feeling for his Cloaths under the Bolster found
they were gone and upon searching round the Room found
the same lying at [..] the Door but his Money was all gone
out of his Waistcoat Pockett being about seven Shillings in
Siver that the two Men the Prisoner let into the Room wod.
have taken his Silk HandKerchief that he were round his
Neck but a Dispute arising about the Property thereof they
went away and left time in such Room that he then went
into Drury Lane and called Watch and Such Watchman
