The Voluntary Information of Edward Lassitter< no role >
taken on Oath before me William Addington< no role > Esqr .
One of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and
for the said County this 12th. day of October 1789

Whosaysbeing on his Oath says that he came into the
Service Wm Alderman Anderson on or about the 17th. day March 1788 in the
Capacity of Groom and Postition that tnice his being in such Service
he got acquainted with John Partington< no role > , who was Coachman to the said
Alderman Anderson and also with one John Cave< no role > , a Coachman out
of place, that the said John Partington< no role > left the said service, about
ten or twelve weeks ago, and that he this Informant likewise left the
said Place about two months since; that the said John Partington< no role > ,
during the time of this living together in the said service had frequently
expressed his Opinion about the Ease, with which the house of their
Master night the brock open; that about three weeks sinse on his
Return to his lodgings, at the house of James Pinfold< no role > in Sycamore Row,
Old Street he found the said John Partington< no role > and John Cave< no role > of his
said Lodging that they withdrew from thence to an Alehouse,
Where after having drunk a Por of Peter he was informed by them
that they had that night [..] intended to have
brock into the said Alderman Anderson house, but [..] were prevented
by the appearence of Mr Lathwick, who had accosted the said
John Cave< no role > and asked him What he was doing there that after
such Conversation a Proposal was made to this Informant, by the
said John Partington< no role > , to be of their Party in executing the said
breaking into the said House, on the Monday night following,
