and Elizabeth Thompson< no role > servant to the said George Clark< no role >
taken on Oath before me this 22nd. day of October 1789.

Who being on Oath severally say and first the said Solomon
Hongham
< no role > for himself says that having received information that John
Partington
< no role > now present was concerned in the Robbery at Mr Alderman
Anderson in Charter house Square on the 21st. of September last that
said John Parting ton was gone to Liverpool, and that two boxes belonging
to him were Carried to the Axe Inn Alderman bury on Friday Night the
25 th of Said Month to be forwarded by the Waggon to Liverpool he
this Informant with said Patrick Mc Manns went to said Inn and
these saw the two boxes now produced which were opened in the
Presence of this Informant said Patrick Mc Manns< no role > and Richard
Arnett
< no role > that in the blue box were found the pair of Silk Stockings
Silver tea tongs, and Ring now produced & that said Ring was
Concealed in the fort of a pair of Stockings very Closely rolled up at
the Cotton of said box And the said Patrick Mc Mannes< no role > for himself
says that the above Information as far as is relates to him was forget
to be put into said boxes and that on this Showing it to said John
Partington
< no role > he acknowledged it to be his And the said Richard
Arnett
< no role > for himself says that on a Friday Evening he received the two
boxes now produced, that he gave the receipt on the Card now
Shown to him for said boxes and that he was present when the said
boxes were opened by said Solomon Hougham< no role > , and Patrick Mc Manns
and saw said Articles found therein And the said John Townsend< no role >
for himself says that he went to Liverpool after said John Partington< no role >
When he found in Custody, that he searched said Partington in the
Watch house, and in the inside of his Breeches found Concealed
the in box now produced, that said Partington was afterward
