for himself Saith That on the ninth day of
July instant he bought the [..] Mare now
produced from the said William Beadle< no role > alias
Smith in Great Queen Street aforesaid for the
price of five Guineas and at that time paid
him one Guinea as earnest moneyAnd
further Saith that the said William Beadle< no role >
alias Smith in company with this Informant
and the other Informant Thomas Smith< no role >
brought the said Mare to the three Tuns in
Oxford Street in the parish of Saint Ann
Westminster in the said County for the
purpose of paying the said William Beadle< no role >
alias Smith< no role > the remaining four Guineas as
the agreed price of the said Mare, but then suspecting
the Mare had been dishonestly come by this
Informant Stopped the said William Beadle< no role >
alias Smith< no role > one Suspicion of having Stolen
the same

And this Informant Thomas Dalton< no role >
for himself Saith that on the ninth day
of July instant he apprehended the said William
Beadle
< no role > alias Smith< no role > and found in his pocket
a Receipt for five Guineas as the price of
a black Mare sold by him to the other
Informant Samuel Patey< no role >

And this Informant George Dodd< no role >
further on his Oath Saith that from all
the foregoing circumstances he doth charge
the said William Beadle< no role > alias Smith< no role > with
