The Information of Mary King< no role > of the Parish of Saint
Margaretts Westminster Taken before me Edward Parker< no role > Esqr . One of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County & this Deponent for her
self Saith that going through Saint James's Park she was met near
to the Bottom of the Cockpit Stops By a Man who had the Appearance
of a Soldier and asked her if she would go with him and said
if she Refused he would kick her And this Deponent further Saith
she would not go with him [..] Nor no
other Soldier Immediately he kicked her and by force tore from
her Person a Cap a Bonnet and a Cushion which she then
had on And this Deponant Saith she was Robbed by the
Soldier which was took up by one of the Park Constables
who took him into Custody whom the Woman charged to be
the Offender which the Soldier Denied But on the Constable
Searching him found the Property behind his Jackett
and took him to the Public Office in Chapel Street
Westminster
