taken the 7th of Tel 1787

Who on Oath says the Sheets produced are his property
That the prisoner who says his name is James Day< no role > he has
frequently relieved and took him to gave him
a night Lodging on Friday night last says he believes
the said James Day< no role > took the Sheets when he and his
Family were at Dinner on Saturday the 3rd Instant

John Smith< no role > on his Oath says last Saturday
between the hours of Three and four in the afternoon his Neighbour
George Comfort of Rosemary Lane Whitechapel
sent for this Informant who went and in the
Shop of the said George he saw James Day< no role > who
George Cornfoot< no role > said he stopped with the Sheets produced
on Suspicion of having Stolen the said Sheet, say he
took charge of James Day< no role > who [..] said he tought them
for half a Crown
and George Comfort bound to Prosecute £40 each
