The Information of James
Williamson

Coach Painter taken upon Oath before
me this 6th. day of January 1787

Who being duly Sworn Saith that in the night
between the 8th. and 9th. of November last at one
o'Clock this Informant going through Ryders Court
Leicester Fields when three Men Passed him in
the Angular Comes of the Said Court, on as Sudden
they all turned Round and Immediatelytold
one of them held a Pistol to this Informants head
and demanded his Money, this Informant gave
him two half Pieces, and Some Silver, one of the
other Men Said Damn You where is your Watch
this Informant Answered he had none upon which
he put his fingers into his fob Pocket to Search, and
Said Dawn his Eyes he has more Money, frisk him
this Informant put his hand into his breeches
Pocket and gave one of them a Guinea and more
Silver they then Asked this Informant what he had
got in his Coat Pocket he Answered nothing, Upon which
they told this Informant to go About his Business
which he did the way he was going, they damned
his Eyes and Oblidged him to go the Contrary was
