that the watch now produced is the property of him this
Informant and stolen from him as aforesaid

And this Informant William Gibbs< no role > for himself
Saith that he is a Corporal in the first Regiment
of foot guards, that the person now present who
calls himself Lazarus Greaves is a private Soldier
in the said Regiment, That on Wednesday the twenty
seventh of December last he was Walking along
Dyot Street Saint Giles When some women called
out to him and asked him if he knew where Jack
was, meaning the said Lazarus Greaves< no role > to which
he answered NoAnd desired to know if any
thing was the Matter with him, when they informed
him that two Constables had got him in custody at
the house of Mr. Reynolds in Church Lane Saint
Giles on Suspicion of stealing two shilling and Sixpence
in silver, that soon after the Constables took the
said Lazarus Greaves< no role > to the Round house of the
Parish of Saint Giles in the fields until the Evening
the Magistrates being then not sitting, That this
Informant went to the Noah's Ark in Dyot Street
where he continued until near half Past five o'Clock
when the other Informants Jane Asken head & Sarah
Sleep
< no role > and the person now present who calls herself Catherine Smith< no role > Sarah White< no role > asked this Informant if he
would go with them to see Jack, meaning the
Said Lazarus Greaves< no role > , in the Pounds house as
aforesaid which eh accordingly did, That soon after
he had been in the said Round house he had a
conservation with the others Informant John Young< no role >
