10thday of December 1787
Who being upon Oath saith that on Friday the
Thritieth day of November last between four and
five o'Clock in the afternoon he locked up nine Sheep
by the direction of his said Master in a Barn in a
ground in Batter sea
Parish in the County of Jurry that the next Morning
between seven and eight o'Clock when he was going to
take up a Horse he went into the said Barn to see
after the said nine Sheep but found only Six of
them.That on further examining the Lock, the found
the same had been broke; and this Informant
further Says that he has seen the three Sheep
Skins now Produced and that he is very sure they
are the Skins of the three Sheep which he missed on
Saturday Morning the first of December Instant
from the said Barn.
