The several Informations of Thomas Miller< no role >
Thomas Playfair< no role > Jacob Freeman< no role > and John
Beamish
< no role > Taken the 9th. day of March 1787

Who upon their Oaths severally say and first the said
Thomas Miller< no role > for himself Saith That he is
Servant to the above named Thomas Playfair who
is a Baker and keeps a House in Campden, Street
Islington That he came home to his Masters House
about twenty Minutes before 10. o Clock on Wednesday Evening last and went up
to his Bed Room over the Flour Warehouse in order
to go to Bed and Missed Three Blankets and one
Street from off the Bed the property of his Master
and a Waistcoat a pair of Breeches and a pair of
Stockings his own property That he then went and
informed his Master That had happened and they
went over the House to see of any thing Else was
Missing when they Missed a Bakers Basket which
was in the Beer Cellar That the Waistcoat Breeches
and pair of Stockings now produced are his property and
the Basket also produced is the property of his said Master
and the same that were Stolen as aforesaid

The said Thomas Play fair for himself Saith
That upon the Information of his Servant he went over
the House in order to see in what manner the Thieves
had Entered the same when he found the pad clock upon the
Inside of the Yard was forced or picked and taken away
and the door was Split That some time past his House
was Robbed of some Hams and he was then informed that
a Man now in Custody who says his Name is Thomas
Brown
< no role > was concerned in Stealing them and that he lived
in Lewkners Lane Which Cause him to Suspect that the
said person was Concerned in Stealing the abovementioned
