this 10th. day of March 1787
Who being upon Oath severally say and first
the said Woritt Warner< no role >
for himself saith that
he came this Morning from Enfield
with a Cart
loaded with a variety of Hampers and Boxes
that he stppt at his Master's door in Chancery
Lane
intentionally to unload the said Cart
That he accordingly had taken one box from
of the said Cart and carried it into the passage
belonging to his said Masters House That
on her return he missed the Flat now produced
containing two pair of Sheets and one Table
Cloth. That he immediatly ran to the corner
of Carey Street
where he saw the Prisoner
at the Bar who calls himself Peter Crickley< no role >
carrying of the said Fat upon his Head
That he immediatly pursued apprehended
him and brought him back to his said
Masters House And the said Thomas
Vaughan< no role >
for himself says that the said Flat
and the said Sheets and Tables Cloth are
his property out that they severally say they believe
the same to have been feloniously taken away
