The several Informations of Ann Ross< no role > Elizabeth Thomson< no role >
and Charlotte Jones< no role > Taken the 24th. day of March 1786

Who upon their Oaths severally say and first the said Ann Ross< no role >
for herself saith That the is a House Keeper in Little Russell
Street Covent Garden That one Mary Prossar< no role > otherwise Davis< no role >
otherwise Carr< no role > came to Lodge with her Three Months ago and left
her Lodgings in a Clandestine manner about Three Week ago at which time the feloniously
Stole out of her said House several Articles of Wearing Apparell
and other things and in particular one Womans Great Coal which
is the property of Elizabeth Thomson< no role > who also lodges with this
Informant which Great Coat was formerly her property and was
sold by her to the said Elizabeth Hounson< no role > for Ten Shillings
That the said Coat is now were by the said Mary Prossar otherwise
Davis otherwise Carr and is the Dentical Coat above mentioned

And this Informant Elizabeth Hdunson for herself
Saith That about Three Weeks ago She purchased of
the said Ann Ross< no role > a woman Great Coach which she put in her
Bed Chamber at the House of Mr: Ross and in the Evening of Monday
the 6th. of MarchlastInstant the said Coat was Stolen out of
said Room and she had not seen since untill Tuesday last When
She saw it on the Back of the above named Mary prossar< no role > alias
Davis alias Carr And this Informant Charlotte Jones< no role > for
herself Saith That she is Servant to the above named Ann
Ross
< no role > That her Mistress told her the said Mary Prossar< no role > had
Stolen the Coat and desired her if She met her at any time
to have her Taken into Custody. That about ½ pas 12. oClock
on Monday night last she met her in Little Russell Street
aforesaid and followed her into princes Street Drury Lane
That She had the Coat upon her and this Informant had her
Seamed and taken to the Watch house
