These are to Certify that at the General Quarter
Session of the peace of our Lord the King holden in and for the
County of Middlesex at the Sessions House for the said County
by adjournment on Saturday the Twenty Ninth day of April
last Thomas Johnson< no role > late of the parish of Saint Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex Labourer was according to
due course of Law Fried and Convicted on an Indictmt. against
him for obtaining under false Colours and Pretences One
Repeating Watch with an Inside case and an Outside Case
both made of Gold of the value of Fifteen pounds the Goods &
Chattels of Hector Essex< no role > and Hugh Davidson< no role > and was then
and there for the said Offence sentenced by the Court To
be Transported beyond the Seas for the term of Seven Years
pursuant to the Statute and Committed to His Majestys
Goal of Newgate until Etc Dated the 4th. day of May 1786
