The Information of Thomas
Wale< no role > taken before me one of his
Majesty's Justices of the peace in
and for the said County.

Who being upon Oath saith that he lives
in Shadwell High Street and carrier on the trade
of a Tallow Chandler that in the night of the
16th. of February instant his Workshop near
to his dwelling House was Entered and a
Quantity of Russia Tallow feloniously taken
And Carried away therein the property of the
said Thomas Wall< no role > . And this Informant
further saith that a Basket containing
a Quantity of Tallow found upon a person
now present who calls himself John Green< no role >
and also a Bag which likewise contained
Tallow and found upon one other person
now present who calls himself James
Clarke< no role > both the Basket and Bag are this
Informants property and he firmly is of
opinion and verily beleives that the Tallow
foud in the said Bag and Basket to be part
of the Quantity of Tallow which was
feloniously taken and Carried away in
his Workshop as above related
